Firmware Update - Hamilton vGRID Cloud Platform from 2023-06-17 10:00 NZST to 2023-06-17 12:01 NZST

The firmware updates have been applied to the Hamilton HPE Synergy Frame.

There was an unexpected network drop that lasted for approximately 3 mins during the update. We are collecting logs and support dumps for the support case that we are lodging with HPE regarding this.

We have checked the platform and systems to confirm everything is fully functional. But if you have any issue with your VM, please contact the on-call engineer by phoning 0800 425 383 & dial 1 to be put though.

This maintenance is now starting as planned.

We will be applying firmware updates to the Hamilton HPE Synergy equipment which is part of the vGRID platform. These updates includes feature and stability improvements that are critical to maintaining a supported and reliable platform.
This is an orchestrated update and we do not expect any impact to workloads as the updates are applied to resilient systems in a staged manner. This notification is sent to advise you that during the updates the system will be operating for short periods of time with a reduced resilience capability. While we do not expect any issues during the update process the risk of service disruption is higher than normal. We will be closely monitoring the platform and will provide additional updates as we progress through the update process if necessary.
