The upgrade of VMware Cloud Director in Auckland has been successfully completed.

The system functionality has been checked to confirm that all systems are running normally.

This maintenance is now starting as planned.

We will be upgrading the VMware Cloud Director in Auckland.

During the maintenance window, your Virtual Machines (VMs) will continue to operate normally throughout the upgrade. However, both the VMware Cloud Director portal and the vGRID Customer portal will not be available, thus limiting management functions like connecting to the console or change hardware specifications.

Customers who are using Veeam to replicate their virtual servers into Auckland vGRID Cloud Platform will get errors/warnings if the replication job is scheduled to run during the maintenance window. This is due to Veeam replication leveraging VMware Cloud Director, which will be unavailable.
