vGRID Cloud Host Failure in Hamilton

vGRID has a failure on one of our Synergy Compute Modules in Hamilton today at approximately 10:26 pm. A number of VMs were restarted by VMware HA to recover from the fault. We checked to confirm that all VMs restarted successfully.

The VMs would have experienced a sudden power off followed by a power on event shortly afterwards. Usually most server operating systems can recovery from this type of event quite easily but it may be worth checking to make sure everything is operating normally.

We do apologise for any inconvenience this incident may have caused. Failures do happen and our systems worked correctly to minimise the disruption.
