vGRID Auckland Core Network Maintenance from 2025-03-02 10:00 NZDT to 2025-03-02 17:00 NZDT

RESCHEDULED WORK - New scheduled date of the work listed below is Sunday, 2nd March 2025

vGRID is postponing the maintenance and upgrades to our core infrastructure at our Auckland Data Centre for a week.

During the maintenance window, we will be:

1. Replacing one of our core switches that has developed a hardware fault.
2. Updating the firmware on our core switches.
3. Upgrading the firewall cluster.

We are not expecting any outages when performing the core switch maintenance and update.
We are expecting brief internet outages of approximately thirty seconds to occur while the active firewall node fails over - this will occur four times during the upgrade.
