We regret to inform customers that a VMware host server suffered a hardware failure this morning and caused a small number of customer VMs to restart. This only affected a very small percentage of all running VMs. The affected VMs have been restarted successfully by the system within minutes of the failure happening.
We have isolated the affected host and will complete tests to identify the cause before returning it to service.
