We need to relocate our ISP Edge Switches within the Waikato Innovation Park facility. This work is required to consolidate our equipment and has been scheduled for this time to avoid disruption for customers during critical operating hours. Most of our services have been moved to our Hamilton Datacentre so the actual services disrupted are quite small but we are conscious that any disruption is an inconvenience and we are committed to keep this disruption to a minimum.
During the maintenance period we expect a number of short drops in service of around 10-30 seconds while we re-route cabling. We also need to relocate a primary fibre cable that links this site to the Hamilton Datacentre which will result in a drop of Internet and Cloud Platform access (only for connections affected) for up to 20 minutes while this cable is moved. We expect all service impacting work to be completed within the two hour maintenance window.
